What's Next?
So runners, what's next? Any more meetings scheduled? Any group runs happening? Leave a comment if you have something you want to add to the blog. I highly recommend the Fort 4 Fitness race next year for everyone. I thought it was very well organized (a few issues with the packet pick-up and health fair) and it was a very nice course.

Fort 4 Fitness
Road Closed
Due to road construction, SR 201 is closed off in front of the park. If you are coming from town that means that you need to go out of town on 124 and take 500 E south to 100 S to get to the park entrance.

Trail Conditions
In case you were wondering, the trails in the park are still good. There were no puddles, only wet leaves so watch your step. Enjoy!!

Street Fair Week
There will be no meeting on Thursday night during Street Fair. There is a group running on Tuesday night at 6:00 pm, meeting at Kunkle Lake. That's the way to burn a few extra calories before you go eat at the Fair. Good luck to those of you running in Catch Your Breath Sunday.

Saturday Morning Run at Kunkle Lake
Ouabache Running Group
This Saturday a group is meeting at 7:00 am at Kunkle Lake. Park at the first parking lot inside the state park. Running will be at about 10:30-11:00 pace with some walking. This will be on a 4.5 mile loop on trails. This will depend on the weather (drizzle is okay, down pour is not).
There will be a second group running at 7:30 am at the same place. Pace is 10 min/mile, 5.5 miles on trails followed by 6.5 on roads. Again, feel free to join for some or all.

Prediction Run 9/11
Here's a reminder that on Thursday September 11 we will have a 2 mile prediction run on the Rivergreenway Trail. It is open to everyone so invite a friend and join in the fun.
Last night (Thur. 9/4) we only had 6 hardy souls show up but we knew last week that it would be a limited group. I had forgotten how much fun it was to run in the rain.
Don't forget about the Saturday Morning run at the state park.
